We are inviting applications for BRAND AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS HEAD:

PROFILE:

The Brand and Public Relations Specialist/Manager will be responsible for developing and
implementing effective branding & communication strategies to enhance and maintain the organization's public image and create brand awareness. This role involves managing the brand identity, digital marketing strategy, fostering positive relationships with the media and key stakeholders, and executing public relations campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Brand Management:

  • Develop and maintain the organization's brand identity and guidelines.

  • Ensure consistency in messaging across all communication channels, including digital.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate the brand into various aspects of the
    business.

Media Relations:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.

  • Prepare and distribute press releases, media kits, and other relevant materials.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and interview requests.

Public Relations Campaigns:

  • Plan, execute, and evaluate public relations campaigns to support organizational goals.

  • Identify opportunities for positive media coverage and brand exposure.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies as needed.

Event Management:

  • Coordinate and manage events, press conferences, product launches, and other public
    relations activities.

  • Ensure seamless execution of events and represent the organization to the public.

Crisis Communication:

  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans to address potential issues.

  • Act as a spokesperson for the organization during crises and manage communication
    responses.

Social Media Management:

  • Oversee the organization's presence on social media platforms.

  • Create engaging content that aligns with the brand and responds to comments and
    inquiries.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and public sentiment.

  • Prepare regular reports on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and brand positioning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA with a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, digital marketing or a
    related field.

  • Proven experience in brand management and public relations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing.

  • Crisis management experience is a plus.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Creativity and the ability to think strategically.

  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PR-related tools.

  • Knowledge of media trends and industry best practices.
